Henna harvesting of the year 2016 has been started in Sojat region from Mid September. There is clear sun and heat which is most favorable during harvesting time. Farmers are busy in harvesting and related activities. Harvesting labors are very limited and its a skillful job so labor prices are always on hike day by day. Most of the henna in region get matured at same particular time period so everything is centralized to henna harvesting.
A sudden cloud and rain scares henna farmers. There has been some cloud and drizzling around 24 September which ruined some henna crop. Overall good henna crop expected this year. Hope everything goes well.
